    my duck has paint on his neck!

    i dont know how it has happened but my duck has got paint all over his neck! its the paint that i used to treat the wood for the run, it says safe to plants and animals when dry and it is dry but its on his neck! what should i do? il post pics 2moz ive put them to bed now will he be ok???

    would i be able to use sand in the brooder from when they hatch? it would be the same sand i use in my ducks run which is just normal building sand, would that be ok? i could give them straw too to sleep on that ok?

    i wanted to get my ducks some crickets but where would i put the crickets? i thought about putting them in the paddling pool without water but the sides are only about a foot high, would this keep them in or would they jump out? how do you guys feed your ducks crickets?
