That sounds terrific! For the ones I've made with arms & legs I usually lace them with wire. I don't think I have any pictures of those though...
Well, welcome to the club! Amigurumi are addictively fun to make, I hope you enjoy it as much as the rest of us!

All of mine took a year--that final molt--to show the white tips on the tail and wing feathers, so I'd hold on for that. I'd be a little more concerned about all of the black leakage in the neck and try to find a girlfriend to counterbalance that as well. He's a pretty little...
What the heck is the patterning behind Butterscotch? I'm still slightly confused about that one, it looks like an unmottled, Dominant-white version of Porcelain that just pops up sporatically. Sometimes there is some lavender shading on them, so I think the gene is involved. Maybe it combines...
Cloverleaf Farm: Pictures! if they're old enough to start crowing, you should be able to tell them apart physically. I've got 3 boys and 3 girls right now, and the boys are notably bigger and have thicker legs. They're also much friendlier, all the boys will jump on my shoulders. Girls run...
Cute little blue thing peeping in the incubator this morning... Cheers. The last blue pair I hatched has actually turned out to be a pair! Super. I hope the little boy blue looks like his big tough wild game daddy.
...Who's looking excessively ugly here. xD

I've started my first crossing...

How'd you wind up with this chicken: Hatched out of eggs from Peachick. The first hatching eggs I'd ever bought! Very exciting. He's such a nice mellow guy, awesome protector. And never stops posing.
Well, sometimes to stretch it I add about 1/4 water to it and keep it in a big bottle outside, but it's fine straight too. It also does lovely things for your hair if you use it right after you shampoo, ha-ha.
They are sweet, aren't they? My Dearest Loudmouth Shirley will ride around on my...
It's for anything d'Uccle related.
Yes, I keep mine inside while their foot feathers are still bloody, but they do hollow out in about three weeks and then they can go outside again. I usually pluck all of mine out when they're molting so they come in at the same time. You can also try dipping...
I just found out Spectrum Ranch has some gorgeous Duns. Yes! I'm 15 minutes away. Now if only they'll be willing to part with them... or trade peeps... or something... I'm desperate...
