Did you ever get answers to your issue? Wondering what any of you ended up doing for this or how it resolved bc I have a hen with the same exact thing. She’s def not feeling well- eating/drinking but less than usual, and at times separates herself from the flock when they’re free ranging. So far...

I used a Boveda RH calibration kit. It was $7.99 and one less project to try and get me closer to feeling confident in my gauges :he
I wish there was something dry and user-friendly (read...simple) like that for the digital models that don’t have probes!
I know, I’m always suspicious of the “sponsored” products that have 2k 5-star reviews. Hard to decipher which ones are honest & which are planted! :idunno
I actually emailed Govee customer support this morning to inquire about any way I might be able to calibrate them without submersing them in freezing/boiling water. I’ll let you know what they say!
These are the ones I bought on Amazon. If I buy more, I’m going to get the same style Govee’s that are wifi enabled rather than just Bluetooth, so I can obsess even when I’m not at home!
Govee Smart Hygrometer, Wireless Thermometer, Mini Bluetooth Humidity Sensor with Notification Alert, Data...
I got Govee thermometer/hygrometers with Bluetooth so I could obsessively monitor readings without opening the incubator. I absolutely love how small & unassuming it is for setting inside the bator, and how it tracks throughout time for you to see the fluctuations. You can name each unit (I...

Thanks for that bit of confidence!! It’s at least one of my five that’s doing the chirping. I can’t tell if it’s more yet- that little peeper was moving & talking so much when I candled last night that it took me several extra rotations on the candler to tell where the lower dip even was! It...
Yes, I’ve seen both suggestions, to turn it down a bit and to keep it the same. So I guess at least to 98 degrees is nothing to be worried about! My bator had dipped down to 94 when I got up this morning so I’ve been trippin a little :barnieIt is making me feel more intense now that I can hear...
I haven’t found the answers yet in threads So I’m hoping someone has advice… My incubator was running at a very steady average of 99.5 Fahrenheit all through Incubation, only fluctuating by about .2 degree above or below for brief periods. I went into lockdown last night and raised the...
I know this is an old thread, but in case anyone happens upon it from searching Corid dosage, I wanted to add what I found on the Corid 9.6% liquid oral solution bottle- it says the prepared “drench”, which is also just water mixed with Corid, can be stored in a closed container for 3 days, so...
Well neither extension office from my county or the next one over were very helpful or nice about my questions :idunno
It sure was worth a try though! I didn’t realize it would be this difficult to find one! I wonder if there are any wood incubator dealers out there 🤔
Yes it’s a wooden one that I’m seeking, so my son can do a restoration of the outside before we incubate. I’d like to end up with at least 20 chicks if we can, so something that holds at least 40+ eggs, but I’d be happy with a bigger one too, so it’s a good-sized project for the restoration part.
I’ve been combing the interweb for a working, or close to working, wood cabinet incubator. My boys, 14 & 11, want to do a joint project & exhibit they came up with for 4H!
Older son is in wood science and younger son is my chicken raiser progeny, so big bro wants to restore/refinish an incubator...
