    Partridge or golden laced Cochin?

Picked up some chicks today, and with them I got a Cochin. I'm having trouble determining if it's a partridge or a gold laced. I'm leaning more towards partridge, but i'll Probably have to wait until it starts feathering. Just curious what you guys think?

Little bantam chick asks "what am I?"

Picked up some mixed bantams at tsc recently, and along with them I got three of these little ones. They are completely confusing me! Now they almost look like a golden sebright (as a couple people have suggested elsewhere) due to their face, but their body coloration is completely off, one is...

An EE, but one like I've never seen...

Just curious if anyone has ever seen an EE like this one? She laid her first egg today, and it was olive green. Curious what you guys think what breeds were used, for the longest time we thought she was a Brahma, Cochin cross. Here she is: Here's her first egg she laid today:

This should be an interesting hatch, eggs just went into lockdown

I just put some of my eggs into lockdown. This is going to be a really interesting hatch as that the mother is a serama x ee x oegb and the father is a serama. These are the first eggs I'm hatching from this pair. The mother is the size of a Class B serama, but has more of the body shape of an...

Treated for mites but still not acting right

My serama hen started acting strange about a week ago. She couldn't walk right, when she did walk she would kind of use her wing as a crutch. She was basically just acting really weak. I was mostly figuring it was due to her being so tiny and laying so many eggs (5 in 6 days). I had read about...

Set my Serama eggs 6/12 and partridge silkie eggs 6/16 (new bator)

At 1:30AM 5/18 I set my serama pair's eggs. I was going to let her go broody and raise them herself, but some issues came up with her that I've gotten straightened out (mites ), and I didn't want to risk loosing the fertility of the eggs because she was going to take to long to go broody. I...

What kind of chick am I?

This is one of the many bantams my fiance and I picked up at the local TSC. I'm just curious as to what you guys think the breed of this one is. It's about 4 weeks old, and ended up getting spots of black on it's back. The legs are gray under normal lighting. Anyone want to make a guess?

    First serama egg layed!

My Serama hen finally laid her first egg for me today! She had been laying before, but after the move from when i bought her she hadn't been laying. I'm hoping she will lay enough and then go broody (I trust her more than my bator)

    which bator is better....

Ok so I've been looking at two other bators that i might replace my LG with. The LG just has way to many issues. For a good example, both my silkie eggs are pipped now, but when i checked the humidity it had dropped during the night to 54% so now that has me freaking out. I added some hot water...
