Yuuuup. Not looking forward to the ice but hubby and I wrapped up errands and have everything we could possibly need. What a way to ring in the new year!
Thanks! I've also got 4 ISA Browns (named Lamppost, Phosphophyllite, Peep, and Vanilla Bean - Vanilla Bean was the one that laid the egg). There's also 3 Dominiques and 1 Ameraucana.
Ducks are so cute! Are they harder to take care of than chickens (especially with their water requirements)...
I got my first egg yesterday! It's a smaller, beautiful brown egg from one of my ISA Browns, ironically the youngest one (she's a week younger than the rest of my flock). Can't wait until we're inundated with eggs.
@416bigbore aww they sound lovely! :love
Santa brought them two different mealworm blends. They were on sale at tractor supply, and of course I had to get them something.
Oh nice! How many do you have, out of curiosity?
It's been about the same on average, though we've had a few nights of 18F so far. On Christmas Eve it's supposed to get down to 13F, so I'm going to try out that vaseline trick for my Dominiques and see if that helps them. Might give them one of...
How is the final season? I only remember the initial few seasons, I didn't realize there were so many. Hulu only offers Murder She Wrote to its premium subscribers :(
Finally finished Lord of the Rings! Since then, I've been watching Saturday Night Live and I'm still playing video games.
My flock is so tired of the snow, lol. My rooster Blaiddyd only crows at snow, and he was crowing nonstop this morning. A lot of them wanna go run around (I let them free range for a few hours each day) but none of them want the cold feet from the snow. I'm gonna bring them a snack to help with...
Those soaps are so pretty!! I've wanted to do soap making for a while but honestly kept getting intimidated by every tutorial I stumbled across on Pintrest, ahaha.
Nearly done with Lord of the Rings - haven't felt like going back to TV recently so I've been watching speedrunning documentaries on Youtube and playing video games instead of watching TV.
It's kind of an exciting Christmas for me - it's my first Christmas with hubby, so we're in the process of figuring out traditions. We went with a very Charlie Brown Christmas tree that's about 2 feet tall that we're going to plant in the spring. We put up some lights and already bought each...
Happy Thanksgiving!
In a bit of a rut TV show wise; Blindspot is too grimdark/edgy even though the plot is super interesting. Lately hubby and I have been watching movies instead. Started the Lord of the Rings movies.
Murder she wrote was one of my favorite background noise TV shows growing up - thanks for reminding me it exists, kikiruru, I'll have to see if it's on Hulu/Netflix.
Hubby and I have been watching crime dramas. Finished up Limitless, now alternating between Blindspot and Elementary. I started...
