Hopefully they are done! They seem fine right now. I will be taking the yournger one to the store to re-home in the Spring. They are both pretty nice roosters, but considering I didn't want ANY...one is more than enough. I was told by 3 different people up here that i SHOULD keep one as he will...

Help!!!! Newbie here with with black spots on Roosters pea comb and wattles

Well, when I 'thought' I had 2 roosters I had my hubby take one to the local feed store (they will take them off your hands for a re-homing fee of $5) and the clerk behind the counter told my hubby it was a hen. LOL....so back he came. Since they don't take them when the weather drops...I'm...

Help!!!! Newbie here with with black spots on Roosters pea comb and wattles

Help!!!! Newbie here with with black spots on Roosters pea comb and wattles

Oh my gosh!!!! I hate to say it, but I'm relieved. I was soooo worried about something that would possibly spread to my girls. I just couldn't believe that the boys are so bad and yet the girls show NO SIGNS of anything. Thank you!

Since I go down at about 6:15 am (it's still dark outside) and once to collect eggs and then once at night (again dark)....I just went today to check on my flock ( 9 hens and 2 roosters). Both roosters have SEVERE black...

Looks AMAZING!! I tried to see where your location is (where is very cold winters) because I'm in north Idaho. =) I'm not usually a fan of purple, but after seeing this it turned out sooooo stinking cute!! LOVE it!

Chickencozy automatic door? Anyone try it yet??

I'm trying to figure out which door and I really like the Chickencozy, but I'm just not sure about the door size? At 8.15" x 10.4" I'm just not sure my big roo will fit? I've got 2 big red-laced Wyandotte boys that I'm concerned won't fit thru it. Just wondering if anyone else has it with some...

Thanks @SandyRiverChick! It's been a ton of hard work, sore hands, backs and knees, but I think it will be worth it in the end. I'm not planning on doing it again, so this is it! =)
