Had a total of 4 chicks hatched. Love these fluffy chicks.

Well today is day 21 and 4 out of 7 have hatched, now to wait and see if the other 3 will hatch. Waiting is awful!

The boys woke up just in time to watch the first chick emerge from its shell, they were so excited! Two more are pipped and rocking. I have to go to work from 11-3 and so don't want to, would much rather stay here and watch these cuties hatch.

So very excited here! Attempting our first hatch, today is day 20 and we have cheeping and 2 eggs that are pipped ( I think that is what you would call it). We can hardly wait to see how many of these little darlings hatch out!

Does the temperature need to be different at times stages of incubation? If so, when do you change the temp and to what? Any help appreciated.

No Naglady, all my hens are 13 months old. Sure got a laugh out of it when the kids brought it in today.

Hello all! Getting 4-5 eggs a day now and am loving fresh eggs for breakfast everyday. Have a young one with a mostly useless leg, am thinking we are going to have to cull her. Am not looking forward to this as it will be the first time we have had to do this.

Was woken by the sound of many coyotes last night about 3:30, told my DH need to do something about them. They woke my oldest (10) also, he came into our room and said they sound scary and cool all at the same time. One of my hens is laying greenish eggs.
