(Sorry this is my phone wall paper and I couldnt find the real one)
I agree with Speckled hen, pure Bramhas must have pea comb.
I have one hen (left hen) she has a TINY pea comb
My broody gets broody every 3 months but I make her get up or lock her out. She can't have babies but I alway make sure she gets water/Mellon in this hot heat
She is my first broody but I can't hatch anything but she the best broody. She sits on her nest and stays. I wish one day I can let her have some bantam Bramha eggs
If your feeding them anything that's not chick food they need grit and a little dust bath fine, I find that my hen will use garden dirt mixed with a bit of wood ash but for babies, I think just dirt is fine
Thank you so much. I'll keep an eye on it and cut back of grain (is seeds ok? I mix black oil in with feed.)
Do they eat a lot of grit then they are? I know that's an odd question but my Bramhas intake a lot of grit.
It's happening with both my standeredsize show Bramhas. They are both a year around the 25th of May. Is there anything I could do to help them from your experience? They eat like a cow so It's really hard to keep them from eating
My rooster likes to mate with her so she has to where an apron
Edit; I got it working.
Does anyone have trouble with slow draining crops with their Bramhas
