No shade? 😱 poor things. My blue coop is a old kids playhouse we redid as a coop. The birds can get under to dust bathe or get shade. I need to redo the top of the run and sides. I think there is 18 chicks in it? They turn 6 week this week so hopefully I can start sexing them soon.

I have my growouts in a coop with a heatlamp. I ran out of room inside and needed my smaller brooders. They've been out there a couple weeks and it's been super nice. They started roosting right away! They have more space and will know that is home. I'm hoping it'll help since when I normally...

I have some silkie eggs, and some Easter eggger eggs. I am no longer hatching this year so I was going to give the silkie eggs to the dog. I’m about an hour from Cincinnati.

Definitely crazy nutso. I’m going to grow them out. Sell in pairs and trios. Maybe a few day olds. And keep some back for me. The one in the middle is one I bought but the other 2 are ones I hatched. Temporary grow out pen, only thing prefab coops are good for lol

Once you start it only gets worse. I’m getting ready to put 60 eggs in the incubator. There’s already 25 in there..... my bator holds 120 so there’s still room.

I think so. I get some like that on days temps are freezing. You can still eat them but don’t scramble them. For some reason it doesn’t work right after being frozen.

All creatures is the one I had trouble with. They didn’t know if they could do the test but pushed for an appointment after I called back.

West I found someone in Clermont County, I have a appointment with them but it’ll be almost 3 weeks.
