I just tried taking some pictures of roses at dusk (and some earlier to compare) and the difference is unreal! Thx for the advice.
Two of the pictures I took (the first is earlier and the second was at dusk)
I only wish I had a camera with better noise reduction. And I'll probably have...
Yes! I remember them and thought they were awesome! I had to redo the sparkler pictures several times 'cause of illegible words, too short of exposures, etc. Either way, it was fun to experiment.
I love experimenting with shutter. Everyone was making fun on me at the 4th of July fireworks...
Thx for the input! I do need work on getting less distracting backgrounds. As soon as my rose bush has more roses on it, I was going to try retaking the rose in hand picture with a better lens. I will make sure to keep that in mind when I do.
Hey! It's been a while since I've posted to this thread but wanted to stop by and ask for some critique on some of my newest pictures.
Our little Bear. She was born with out a tail and looked like a little bear when she ran around.
Kittens. Wish the other kitties face wasn't blurry...
:goodpost:
That is so cool! It almost makes want to try something like that, only I have a feeling I would miserably..... I get way too discouraged trying to take pictures in the dark as nothing seems to work,:idunno
I can see how that background would be pretty distracting with the tree and all the dead leaves, I'll make sure to play closer attention to that next time.
I wish I could have gotten a picture with the birds eyes open. She kind of just sat there not moving the whole time. It was taken at the...
Hey, I was wondering if any of you want to critique some of my photos? I started taking a photography class and I just really want to get better, so any and all criticism will be greatly appreciated.
So there is a little more than a few... Anyways, Any input...
So I wanted to know what you guys thought about these pictures
I took them using my regular kit lens with some close up filters attached, because I don't have a real macro lens. I thought they came out good considering. What do you all think?
Was driving down the road yesterday and saw a golden eagle and stopped to take pictures. Got a few shots of him.
I switched my camera to manual mode and set the shutter to 1/1000 just in case he flew off. Unfortunately he took off before I had time to set the aperture or ISO, so the...
These four are gorgeous! Love all the colors and the reflections on the water!
I've been trying to get some good sunset pics, but the skies haven't been very cloudy lately (except for last night in which case I didn't get the chance to take a picture of it until it was gone)
Here's a few of my pictures:
A rose from a bush in front of my house.
A Blue Laced Red Wyandotte pullet in a cherry tree.
Kitten with a cochin chick.
A macro shot of water droplets on a branch
So there's a few of my photos.
Just looked through the whole thread (all 184 pages of it) and am loving all of the pics.
I LOVE photography. I am taking a photography class this year and have gotten REALLY into it. I even went and spent all of my savings on a new (and very much improved) camera. (Which is unusual for me...
