Saddled air cells (off to the side) seem to be common in shipped eggs. My first hatch were all very wonky saddled air cells and hatched well. As long as they are not detached they should be fine 😊

Ugh I know. Spring is always a challenge here. Right now days 14-17c and night still freezing. Little ones (7 weeks) doing great in the coop though with no extra heat.

My brain was a little confused from doing a staggered hatch and I thought lockdown was 7:30pm tomorrow but really it’s 10am tomorrow! I will put them in lockdown tomorrow morning before work which is great because day 21 is a Sunday 😁

I’m not sure yet. I’ve looked at Indian runners for sure as well as khaki Campbell. There are few breeds being posted around right now for hatching eggs but I definitely need to do some research before deciding.
