    My broody gets broody every 3 months but I make her get up or lock her out. She can't have babies but I alway make sure she gets water/Mellon in this hot heat

    My standeredsize hens eat a lot. They'll clean out a watermelon but yea. They do get hot easy but it's vary helpful when it's the winter

    If your feeding them anything that's not chick food they need grit and a little dust bath fine, I find that my hen will use garden dirt mixed with a bit of wood ash but for babies, I think just dirt is fine

    Thank you so much. I'll keep an eye on it and cut back of grain (is seeds ok? I mix black oil in with feed.) Do they eat a lot of grit then they are? I know that's an odd question but my Bramhas intake a lot of grit.

    It's happening with both my standeredsize show Bramhas. They are both a year around the 25th of May. Is there anything I could do to help them from your experience? They eat like a cow so It's really hard to keep them from eating
