My Poppy sure LOOKS like a laying hen... she's grown into a beautiful woman. Alas the goods are still waiting to be delivered. Hahaha

I'm getting most excited. The girls are now 22 weeks old and today 2 of them squatted in front of me when I reach out to them. They are also paying interest in the nest box. Ooooh the laying must be close!!!!!

we dont have any grasshoppers but what they did get is the biggest most disgusting cut worms I have ever seen! I found 4 in my compost bin and my word the noise and fighting over them was quite something. I nearly threw up when the cutworms were being ripped apart by my greedy guts. eeeuw...
