I put 12 eggs in... 3 didn't make it... and 7 are out running around the brooder doing great.... The last two are in the bator with good sized pips!
I hope to get everyone out by tomorrow because my Serama eggs were Supposed to go in lockdown today!

Good for you. I think duck eggs are more tolerable of temperature changes. My Rouen and Mallard eggs have survived nests being abandoned, etc. And they still hatched after being rescued. God bless your incubation and hatch.

I finished my hatch Monday with 45 hatched chicks in my LG still air incubator. I had stacked eggs in my LG incubator thinking I would have a lot of infertile eggs. It turned out I had only 2 infertile eggs that I tossed out.
Of the eggs that didn't make it, four chicks zipped but did not...
I'm sorry. It's seems to me that the temperature was too low. I usually run my temperature above the recommended temperature about 102 to 104 at the top of the eggs in my still air incubator. Toward the end of the incubation I have to be careful to not let the temperature run up too high due to...
Some are dry and some are still wet. They are popping pretty well now that hatch day has arrived. I have lost count but I think it is about 35 chicks so far. Some pictures...
Update.
The hatch is going well. I have about 30 chicks so far. That is about 18 in the brooder box and about 15 in the incubator ready to pull out. More eggs have pipped and are zipping. Pictures are forth coming.

I have 9 chicks so far and tomorrow is day 21. I set the eggs on Monday around 9:00 P.M. I hope to get more chicks tomorrow. It's bed time for now. Good night.

I usually get concerned when my windows fog up. I know at that point breathing must be difficult. I open the windows and dry them and let out some of the humidity. And take out chicks and shells, etc. I may even take out my sponges and...
