YIKES! I dont drive in the snow. The wind here was pretty bad a few nights ago. I was awake all night worring that my chicken coop and the roof on my house would blow away, but we surived!
They sent an assortment from privetts and never said what they sent. I think I know more about chickens than the feed store does. I looked really hard and tried to pick out what I thought they were from the poster they send. I got a blue I hope, a partrige, a white. I want a laced for sure...
I made the mistake of buying chicks on friday during a snow storm and was paniced while I was doing the rest of my errands. I moved them to my daughter happy meal box stuffed with tons of napkins and then turned on the heat full blast in the car. I needed a shower by the time I got home...
i wondered if you guys would freeze to death at the swap. I am way down in SW NM and it was freezing here, so i knew it had to be really cold were you guys were at!
I wound the NM thread. Since this new system, it has been hard to find stuff. My chickens where starting to lay really good but the neighbors or stray dogs got a hold of a bunch!! No more free range. We made a huge run, but the little jerks can still get out. We are going to have to watch...
Are those the ones that you are rehoming.....what are you keeping? I thought you only got 20 in the first place. If I was any closer I would take them!!! I love japs because they are kind of like seramas. How about you deliver all across the state and I will trade you some seramas!!
