Are Sumatras more drama-inducing than other breeds? I joined for the pics (getting me a yard-candy hatchery Sumatra next month) like I did for my other eye candy breeds...and this thread always seems more dramatic than most. More pics and less fighting please!

I have assorted layers right now, getting about 7 eggs per day on average. I sell chicken eggs for $2/dozen and duck eggs at $0.50 a piece.

I live in Ohio and we have about 2 feet on the ground here, but I have never seen anyone using snowshoes, LOL. I do have a pair of cleat-things that go over my shoes for walking on ice.

Is that normal to have problems with mice? I've been concerned about larger predators all this time since losing several birds to a raccoon...I never thought of being concerned with mice.
