The top one looks like my pullet ~ smaller comb (like almost none) and wattles. the bottom one does not. Looks to be developing a larger comb and wattles. He'll probably develop more feathering too.
Of all my hens I think my Plymouth Rock is the prettiest. I may show her this fall. But I would like to breed a rare breed here and I can;t decide which. Maybe when I go to a show I'll find something.
ANyone interested in Mixie-Chicks from my Rooster ^^ He's a Polish Cross and my Hens are white Leghorn and Welsummer. I'm in the Brantford area.
Lemme know. I just sent A dozen eggs to be hatched. :D
Where is this Cathy's place? I feel I am missing something?
Funny about the back yard neighbour having chickens!
I'm getting new chicks as well :D Can't wait!!!
Youcan always cover with clear plastic ~ that's what they all do here in Norfolk. It greenhouses the young plants. I got some pansies today ~ could NOT resist. I NEED COLOUR!!
Great NEWS!!
My brooder chicks .. they are now two weeks and very different. I've been taking them to school (three times now) where my grade four and fives are studying them and their habitat and they are building model coups :) Lots of fun!
How cool! I'd be interested in going to the show! I'd love to have something to show, but I don't. At least I don't know that I do.
I'd love to have a hen to show, something purrrrty!
