I was so sad! I still had 6 of my 9 eggs hatch luckily and while 2 looked like they might not make it, they're up and about today and fluffing up nicely. They did take very long to dry and fluff up... probably because they had a lot of fluid.... but I'm thankful to have all of my welsummer x...

Sadly we lost 2 eggs. They had pipped, and then didn't progress and just quit. I think they might have drowned because of the humidity problems I caused by following the instructions on the incubator 😣 I still have 5 wiggling around and chirping through the shell, 1 that made it out and is nice...

I'm loving all of the chick pics! Today is day 20 (I think) for my eggs and I saw two wiggle and I for sure heard one chirping! I'm so excited, but I'm still really worried about the air cells not being large enough 😫

So I was able to figure out that one of the 2 questionable eggs was no good. There was no movement and the veining was not like the others at all... actually I couldn't really see veining at all... so... being curious... I couldn't just throw the egg out. I wanted to know what day it stopped...

I had actually bought a good humidity monitor when I purchased this and it got lost in the mail... Amazon finally just refunded the cost and I had already set the eggs for about a week and decided I would get one for the next hatch but we'd "wing" it (pun intended) this hatch... which might have...

Sound like a good game plan! I'll do this! I'll start looking for pips and not add water till then. I read the reviews on this incubator before purchasing it (I've read horror stories of lost batches of eggs due to malfunctioning incubators) and it seemed like a good one at a reasonable price...

Here are two that look a little better but still seems like maybe too much humidity I've taken the water out of the reservoir and the humidity had stayed around 45-48%... will this be low enough to do the job in the next few days since they're already pretty close to hatch? My incubator is this...
