So far 15/33 have hatched! Isbar, partridge orps, buff orps, wellsummers, breese, blue/black splash Ameraucanas and some mixes. Super excited about the red partridge! (Second pic)
Congrats and good luck to all hatchers and new chick mommies!
Hi folks! I'm setting up a new incubator so might be couple days before I set. Thought I'd share and get opinions/thoughts.
It's a Farm Innovators Pro Series 4250 digital incubator with auto turner. It has humidity reading, day count and included a candler. TSC for about $120, on sale.

It's a 9300 Little Giant. I added a computer fan which really helped. First hatch was 50%. This time was 93% (25/27). I learned some of its quirks and again, the fan helped.
Sounds like detached air cell. Very common in shipped eggs. I recommend setting upright and rotating side to side manually. I did that with some eggs from MPC and had good results. Most of mine were saddle shaped.
I candled this weekend. 13/42 are not viable. 29 is still a great number to me. Glad my lavenders are fairing well and most of the isbars. Go November chicks!!
Still in the running:
3/4 ishbar
7/9 ishbar mixes
13/18 lavender orpingtons
6/11 homebrews ;)
Yesterday was day 10 for me. 10/42 do not appear fertile. No ooze/smell so I'm eaving in until day 14.
Some are amazingly active, some are incredibly hard to see.
3/4 ishbars show life. One had blood ring.
3/9 ishbar mixes appear infertile.
2/18 lavender Orpingtons appear infertile/quitters...
Yes. Liver laced Wyandotte are gorgeous! I bought 2 from MPC on 10/5. They are cute chicks, too!
Thank you darkbluespace. And yes, lots of fun stuff here!!
I set 42 eggs on Sunday (10/16); due to hatch on 11/6. They are a mix: Swedish Ishbars, Lavender Orpington and some EEs.
I also set 5 garden varieties due to hatch next week (10/28). Rooster is a mixed Light Braham and the hens are golden comets, barred rock and grey brahma bantam.
The ones...
