colon cancer is one of the most treatable forms...especially when caught early...here's hoping hers is one of the more common successful survivor stories...I know of some, personally as well. I hope her care is in the most excellent of minds and hands too.
((hugs))

Here chick, chick, chick....come and get it!!!!!!!
Buff Rock chicks lookin' good and enjoying their first taste of the "Scraps Pan".....fresh corn, cut clover, spinach and some carrot.
I like to start young with introducing variety to their palate---natural food curiosity is a good thing...
Here's some T.G.I.F. photos I took today of my almost 2 week old Buff Rocks from eggs Tom Roebuck sent me...really enjoying them...they are already 'begging' for treats=mealworms each time I approach their grow out run...who could resist this little darlin' dude??
Meeeeee Tooooooooo!!!!!!
still missing Northern Cali from 2 years ago and even my native Oklahoma after all these years...both very green with lots of water....lalas, nothin' doin' here in AZ
Welcome back Kathy!
That snake was nasty...
Love Tony and Fred...."The Odd Couple" remember that sit com??
Beautiful juveniles...
we are on day 3 of our epic heat wave in AZ...116+ here in my area and low of 91...did not break under 100 until around 1am...Ugh! all the birds are...
Mayo (but Miracle Whip ain't too shabby either )
TP- Over
Whole egg
LOVE ALL CHOCOLATE--Belgian especially!!
Whipped Cream AND Buttercream-Do I have to decide??
Cold Stone Creamery "Cake Batter" with sprinkles on top
(Rita's frozen custard is a very close second though)
I rec'd 18 eggs from VA (Tom Roebuck--APA judge and Buff 'guru' breeder)....
12 went to day 18....hatched 11...61% ain't bad on shipped eggs to AZ in the summer. I am pleased.
I used to live near Sonoma/Napa area....a few heat waves are pretty typical here and there...just water everything...
I don't blame you wanting to get going on the 'harvesting' of those meaties....10 weeks will be a nice tender age to eat too...how does the taste compare to the cornish X ?
Sure wished we had a processor around our area in AZ...no one seems to know of any.

Love the sounds of that bama bbq sauce too...serious YUM Almost like homemade tartar sauce (without the lemon and dill relish).
I am 'bracing' myself and my critters for our upcoming...
I bet you did get good critiques....wonderful photos....I especially love the second shot of the oatmeal...everything about the photo is excellent IMHO
You are a talented gal!!!
