    Not currently. The hens are black (without barring) with red leakage on the head and neck, sometimes the breast. McMurray Hatchery calls them "Black Stars" and shows a picture of the hen. Photo from http://www.mcmurrayhatchery.com/black_star.html

    Here is a Rhode Island Red roo x Barred Rock hen (a.k.a. - black sex link). This is a 4-week old cockerel.

    She's bigger than the Mille Fleur, slightly smaller than the cochin, and not quite as poofy as the cochin.

    The parents - Mille Fleur bantam rooster x Birchen Cochin bantam hen - Their baby girl - There were variations in the hatchlings. All of them were black. A couple looked like the birchen lacing was going to be red/brown, but something got in the coop and only this one baby survived.

    Oh, I have a birchen cochin bantam crossed with a mille fleur. She looks like a birchen cochen with a muff and a little extra leg feathering. She's cute. I like the muff. You guys want pictures this weekend?

    Rhode Island Red rooster (hatchery) over White Leghorn hen (hatchery) cockerel on the left, pullet on the right in both photos (blue splash marans behind them). The pullet looks a bit grayish, like she's permanently dirty.
