I bet you could cut ones legs off and pluck all his feathers out and he would still try to find a way to mate. Never seen any not mate unless they have a more dominant rooster in the group but even then they try to sneak one in there and then run.

My Smith/Segler Lavender Ameraucanas and the one black/lavender split. Selling 4 roosters, well 3 until I figure out if the black/Lav is a hen or rooster. I kinda think rooster but waiting on that one.
