    I didn't know you had broken your leg! So sorry to hear that. I can certainly sympathize, I had a broken foot with surgical repair and a stoved up shoulder from a fall in the spring.     Wow, it isn't you today, it is me! I was seeing the greens as an entire block and then the other colors as different blocks. I went back and looked again and realized I was seeing the blocks wrong. :he No wonder it wasn't making sense to you! LOL

    Regarding my center diamond idea....In my head it looks sort of 'aztec' .... if that makes sense?

    Another option would be a diamond center with all of the green blocks but 4, then a line of the purple around that, then the outer gold with one with the green block in each 'corner' to accent.
