Wow, it isn't you today, it is me! I was seeing the greens as an entire block and then the other colors as different blocks. I went back and looked again and realized I was seeing the blocks wrong. :he No wonder it wasn't making sense to you! LOL
Another option would be a diamond center with all of the green blocks but 4, then a line of the purple around that, then the outer gold with one with the green block in each 'corner' to accent.
Sometimes life gets in the way of hobbies, and sometimes the mood just isn't right.... either way it is ok and we still love you and your thread! :hugs
