blue laced splash isn't a color. it's either blue or splash. not both.
if it's a splash laced red roo, then she's a splash laced red. either way she's splash something. only time will tell tho if she's laced or red.
nope. wrong chocolate... the orps are the recessive sex linked variety (choc) not dun/chocolate (I^d) which breeds like blue and is an offshoot of the dominant white mutation...

the only true way to eliminate it would be to test-breed each bird to a single combed bird. if it does NOT carry single comb, it will produce only rose combed offspring. if it does...

actually, the complete SOP is not online due to copyright restrictions... but several color varieties in the 'dottes read as male - yellow, female - yellow to dusky yellow, yellow preferred, bottoms of feet - yellow.

I believe the standard for blue and black allows for dusky legs so long as the bottoms of their feet are bright yellow. but all other things being equal, in a show yellow legs will get more attention. but she's still very nice, and IMO I would show if I were inclined.

yes you could, but you won't get any gold laced out of it. you'd get silver laced pullets and split silver cockerels. unless you want a multi-generation project you're better off just finding a gold laced to work with.
