    Im not sure! Lol i think i have been told reg. Silkie is a silkie. A sizzle has silkie characteristics but has regular feathers making it a smooth. Add the frizzle gene and you get a wild feathered chicken with silkie characteristics.some please correct me if this is not right. Im just learning...

He /she got trapped next to the fence and the durn dog was trying to eat it thru the fence pulled out all of the feathers on one leg and even cut its little leg...

    Hey all just went into lockdown with my isabells, ayam cemani, barnyard mix and sizzles. 30 eggs and all were moving! Some looked awfully small for 18 plus days but we shall see. I'm a bit nervous about hatching them upright in cartons. Just seems more natural to be laying down. Oh well still...

    Day 7 candle lost 9 eggs. eggtopsy shows 1 quit day5, 1 day 7+. 1 Isabelle clear, 2mixed clear, 1 sizzle scrambled.3 had blood rings no embryo developed enough to find. (1 ayam, 1 isabelle 1 barnyard mix. ) still have 35 going well. And expecting 24 in the mail this week!anyone want to see a 7...

    I tried the bandaid but they were both curled all the way back at the ankle so the splint just curled under with his feet. It took him about 36 hrs also before i peeled it out of the shell. I think it was just to weak . The other two that never pipped had shells that were moving but then died...
