Crowing
My turkeys have not come outside yet today. Usually they are the first ones through the door. The snow doesn't even tick me off really, it's all the darn mud and slush that had JUST dried up finally.

My brother finally posted a few finds in his area yesterday. They are in NE Indiana, but their weather has almost matched mine this year, which is unusual. My daughter said it was 40 degrees this morning. It's 32 here.A grey day here but no snow...I doubt it will make 70 though...
Life in the banana belt could be a tad warmer... I am worried about morels this year. The ground should be warmer now. I am afraid of another winter to summer years where we blow right through the morel season.
I have puffballs and never have found a morel.70? Hah! I hope we will reach 40 but the weather guys say no. (Pout whimper whine!)
I’ve never had a morel. Always wanted to try. We do have puff balls. They’re amazing but Terry freaks out if he even catches me looking at one (“You’re not thinking about eating that are you?!”) though I have eaten many and as far as I can tell they’ve never kilt me yet. (Pout again)
Once in a while people here tend to think my temperature forecasts are a little optimistic.70? Hah! I hope we will reach 40 but the weather guys say no. (Pout whimper whine!)

At first I thought you were serious but then I talked to DH in Rochester (on his way home... no mushrooms for me...) He was not happy about the weather. I cheered him up, though. Informed him we’re s’posed to get 6” or more. Of snow. Again...Once in a while people here tend to think my temperature forecasts are a little optimistic.
