My one legbar just started again after a really severe molt that took forever to get her feathers back in. I won't incubate until the middle or end of Feb though, since we'll be in Denver babysitting for 10 days and I don't want babies or the incubator running while I'm gone. (And I already have 2 lebar/orloffs and don't particularly need more.)

Still haven't built my pens to separate out the breeders.

No problem... not a rush with them... they'll hang out with the Am's for a while until after all who want blue egg laying sex-links get them... might just put them in with the whites and the old man lav... chicks will be black sex-links carrying lav... :D

My sex link blue pullet was black / dark grey until she was about 6 weeks old - only then did she begin to show any signs of "blue" (to me its just grey

). Maybe they'll "blue out"?

Maybe, but doubt it... none of my Am's are blue and it's dominant so it shows... :confused:

And blue is actually grey... all blue is, is black diluted... diluted twice is splash... blue is just a name label... ;)
