I had never heard of Asian chickens until this thread....I can not recommend any place for researching them, sorry.
 
It isn't a new breed, it's a named hybrid. You might find information from others who have bought them and from the hatcheries producing them but it's a relatively new product.

From the pic of the chick shown I do believe I got the real ones. The white wing tips are very unusual and most of mi e do have that in addition to the cute big white butt look that is similar to the BRs.
I can't wait to see how the feather out!
I'll post pics as they grow. The only detail I'm missing that will eventually be relevant in where and with which other Flock members they live is whether the white dot on the head I dictates male. If I find that I'll post the link k.

Actually, white wing tips and penguin down are common features on chicks of breeds like Australorp. They molt to fully black. But if they were labeled "Asian", I'd presume that's what they are.
 
Ok ill answer this one!!!! Yes they are Asian blue, a new breed. There are not much info on these. But they lay large brown eggs, are very large chickens. Turn out copper heads, some black bodies, some with just black tail feathers. A very pretty bird, colors look black ,green according to the sun. Just a mixed breed some one come up with , like a mut dog. Straight run , sold at TSC. 1.99 per bird. Very good flock chicken for meat, or brown eggs.I've got some also.
