Duckling having trouble drinking water

https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sou...3aDb40isazufOxzRg&sig2=eyHgnZjr8BsJxk62pmtmxg here's another thread from BYC it's regarding silkie chicks but it's same treatment. Some use Prednisone in addition to vit E and selenium. I would probably only try the Prednisone if vit alone don't help as you have to ween off Prednisone. This is Alan Stanford wry neck treatment. If you search online it will tell you exactly how much and when to give it.

Thank you I will check it out. I am still giving b complex and save a chick in the water. I was hoping for at least some improvement by now.

So I've been doing the treatment you suggested with the selenium, vit E, baby vits, and prednisone for a week and a half now, with little to no improvement. Although tonight she was the best I've seen her so I hope that is a sign she's turned a corner. I figure I will finish this course and then let nature take over. She seems to to good when she is "on a mission" if she is busy doing something she doesn't seem to star gaze much if at all but when she done it is worse than ever. I'll still give her a chance and hope she doesn't drown once they are out and about more. Thank you for all your input it has been really helpful. I will continue to keep you updated one way or the other

Thanks for the update and hopefully she is coming around.

I'm glad to hear she is definitely still fighting to make it, that's half the battle.

This aims a link to the ducklings first swim outside. The little seems to continue getting better, she can actually swim and not in circles with her head under water. You can see she still star gazes but not as much or as bad. I am optimistic she will make it. I was worried she would fall in the water and drown.
