Do you have a sign on your coop?

I designed this to be a very simple sign on my new coop....I should probably build the coop before I start painting the sign though!

littlemissjellyfish, thanks so much!

i grew up around many hex signs, so many that i didn't even notice them much until i moved away. then when i realized how much i missed them, i started researching and decided making my own would be a good way to get one, but also get more in touch with my ancestors. it was an incredible experience. i posted on another site i belong to and had someone commission me to make them one. so i thought oh, i've got to put it on byc, there are lots of farmers there and i'm sure some will be familiar with these... but i think i may have either confused or frightened everyone, which wasn't my intention. so i'm glad it was appreciated by someone!

mrsdeb - i love yours, that is hilarious! i would love to drive past a coop that said pecker palace, but would probably go off the road laughing!

OK.....so I finally came up with a name for my new coop but I still have to make the sign. I'm going to call it "THE OTHER SIDE"....get it?.....why did the chicken cross the road?....to get to "THE OTHER SIDE." What do you think? I have another little coop that we will be refurbishing and adding on to. I think I will call it "THE SUNNY SIDE".....sunny side up.

We *had* one but that was on the old chicken shed. It will be put on the new one when it is finished. The sign needs some work too lol, it got a beating last winter and I'll be giving it a copper rim around the edge. Our house is named Hill House, so it makes sense.

A couple of my signs. Just store bought but I thought they were cute. The one on the left says "Don't Ruffle my Feathers"

The coop isn't finished yet, but when it is I'm having a sign made that says "Chateau Poulet"...
