Ducky! Note to self: You are due on MONDAY.

I totally understand. The silkies that hatched I had on the calander as due Saturday, so either I wrote it down wrong, or my bators hot. I figured if that bator was hot, the pheasant would come quick also, but they are either still waiting or not hatching. I think I must have wrote it down wrong.

Always nice to have babies on the way though!

Why don't sheep shrink in the rain?

Why is there brail at drive up ATMs??

Why are their floatation devices instead of parachutes in my airplain seat???

If a tree falls in the woods and my husband doesn't hear it, am I still wrong????

My roo isn't getting near the mark. He's still all over the place, I think it takes practice. Is he doing it in the pool? Now I feel weird asking about ducks' sex lives. lol.png

Sometimes mine are on the mark than others, but if its a problem too long, they get replaced.  When I'm breeding  hatching eggs, I increase the number of males for a few months, to be sure they are taking care of business.

Why don't sheep shrink in the rain?

Why is there brail at drive up ATMs??

Why are their floatation devices instead of parachutes in my airplain seat???

If a tree falls in the woods and my husband doesn't hear it, am I still wrong????

OMG, I'm outta control!!  I just bought 4 more grey dewlap toulouse eggs from the seller I got my buff dewlaps from.  So, now I have 9-10 goose eggs to set first thing next week!

Good thing I'm getting ready to toss all but 2-3 SA eggs from the bunch I set 8 days ago.

My menagerie includes 5 horses, 3 dogs, 4 cats, 32 geese (dewlap toulouse & african) and 10 ducks (muscovy, ancona, cayuga & silver appleyard).

Marty, chicks, anyone that has hatched turkeys I have a question. My eggs started internally pipping around this time yesterday. No one has external pipped. I've only opened the incubator once when my humidity dropped below 60% to add water, turn, candle, etc. Humidity is staying around 60-65%. Does it need to be higher? Anything I should do?

I think mine usually come along a bit faster.  Is he still active inside?  Do you hear him tapping at the shell?

One pipped, either I didn't see it somehow or it just did it. They are still wobbling around when I shine a light at them.

Marty, it may be 2 years before I have toulouse or dewlap hatching eggs.  I am told that they are usually still young as a 1yo to lay fertile eggs.   I may be able to ship a breeding pair to you next winter... and I should have cayuga and ancona eggs to swap!!

FYI, I tossed all but 1 lonely SA egg.  Let's see if I can nurse it to hatching and then hope it is the opposite sex from the SA I just hatched.

My menagerie includes 5 horses, 3 dogs, 4 cats, 32 geese (dewlap toulouse & african) and 10 ducks (muscovy, ancona, cayuga & silver appleyard).
