I think pigeons can be very marmite! I never used to pay much attention and I used to shoot them on the farm when I was younger. They can cause alot of damage to crops if left unchecked. But since I got the stray last year they have definately grown on me! Domestic pigeons are a far cry from the feral town rats you see eating chips of the street!If everyone liked everything it would be pretty boring

I’m sure they are once you get into them just as with any other animals.... heck I never wanted chickens.. it was Charlie & his dad but they grew on me and I was hooked once they’d lost interest
Same with ponies & horses... was never interested in them until I got friendly with a girl at school who had ponies.... she locked me in a stable with one and wouldn’t let me out until I’d stroked it. That one stroke led to a lifetime addiction and I’m still on her yard to this day with Harry 30+ years later......

This weather is no good, it’s too damn hot and too wet to do anything!
Just had a shower of rain here but yes it’s quite humid! Been about 24c here today. I’m trying not to complain though as it’s not honking it down incessantly!
Malcolm the tortoise is enjoying this weather though
Horses not so much, only need to have a walk round village on them and they are sweaty. Flies are really attacking them too
Birds seem to be ok though, not panting like last summer!

Going to be a bit warm here in NY - heat index predicted to be 40C+ over the next 2 days....can't wait for winter, snow and all
