I have just got my very first Dark Bramah chicken what a fantastic personality, she stands head and shoulders above my others but she is very calm and relaxed. I thought she looked like an eagle when I was offered her but she is a gentle giant.
 
Dark Brahmas are very gentle birds. I'd get another one in a heartbeat. I have two dark Brahma hens. One is the boss, the other seems to be on the bottom of the pecking order. My dark Brahmas are the tamest birds in my flock. Very pretty too, there heads do look like an eagle. Congratulations on the new addition to your flock!
