It does take a sharp knife for peeling ripe peaches!yes--but I hate peeling them
Too Funny!I made a nice sour cream bundt cake once. It was cooling, and when I got back to it, it was decidedly smaller. Hubby cut himself a wedge, and reassembled the circle as if I wouldn't notice
If the peach is really ripe, they peel very easily. If they aren't ripe, peeling them sucks. Ripe peaches, 30 seconds in boiling water, immediately into cold water and the skin will wipe right off. When they are really ripe, I don't even bother with the boiling. Work a point loose and the while skin will lift off in a couple of pieces. It does take a sharp knife for peeling ripe peaches!
