This "tule fog" reminds me of the film "Withering heights" :)
Tule Fog can be very thick!

Tule fog (/ˈtuːliː/) is a thick ground fog that settles in the San Joaquin Valley and Sacramento Valley areas of California's Central Valley. Tule fog forms from late fall through early spring (California's rainy season) after the first significant rainfall. The official time frame for tule fog to form is from November 1 to March 31. This phenomenon is named after the tule grass wetlands (tulares) of the Central Valley. Tule fog is the leading cause of weather-related accidents in California.[1]

Our rain is gone but we have a wind advisory. I had to drive into town this morning(I sound like I'm on Little House On The Prairie 😂) and my car got buffeted. Our umbrella for the table is on the other side of the yard. But the skies are a beautiful blue and it's in the 70's.

Not baking today, but I'm making beef stew for dinner.
I'm not baking either, but I am making a pot of chili. It's chilly here! And I can't build a fire, we need a new chimney cap but I'm waiting for the local fireplace people to fit me into their schedule.

Meanwhile it's raining down my chimney...
