Chicka nice crop of tomatoes.

I remember when my mom would put the green ones in a brown bag to ripen. The dog used to pull one out and bite it - then leave it on the floor. Apparently she didn't like green tomatoes. It didn't stop her from tasting a lot of them and leaving them all over the kitchen floor.

Thanks Diva. I still have so many on the plants still that I want to ripen all the way for some salsa. I already sliced up and froze 4 bags of green tomatoes.
I am going to start some new tomato plants soon for fall.

Thanks for the wonderful coffee Sour and the blueberry scones are so good! :drool

I am hoping the ground will dry out soon. Much work to get done in the garden.
I also want to check on my red pear tree to see when they might be ripe.

Great coffee Sour thanks. I sure needed that. :bow
I went out to check on the garden and found stink bugs eating my tomatoes!
I covered them with some netting. I picked a bunch and brought them in. Some I sliced up for fried green tomatoes the others are sitting on my dining room table to ripen. I also picked several cucumbers.

Hoping this will help keep the stink bugs off them.
Shalom to all!
