The greening haze increases in the woods, and the daffodils are popping!

It's going to rain for days.
But I've continued to putter with the pond. It's just difficult to glue PVC and shovel clay soil in the rain. And enough of that clay sticks to your shoes that it makes walking a real chore.

I love this about spring. Every day looks different.

We're still in the pinking haze of flowering maple trees. The ridge North of the beagle club is pretty in pink . That is except for the dead clusters of Ash trees.
The yellow-green bodices and bonnets are now topping the red skirts of the maples here.
That is the one item I use to treat myself.

Saw the orthopedic doctor yesterday. He is getting authorization to do a nerve block at L5/S1. This does not look like a good time.
Look at the size of that needle! I'm going to freak out.
