my ducks keep getting out with it being so cold here i was wondering if the snow could cause problems for their feet

They are escaping their run or their house? There is no reason why ducks can't go outside in the snow as long as they can get back in their house and warm up if they get cold. If they are escaping their actual house that is a big problem because If they can get out something can get in.

they excaped durring the day when the barn is open for the goats to go in and out the pen they have alows them to wander the barn so they have more room. we close the doors up at night. You dont think the snow will bother their feet?

As long as they can go back in when they get cold and their food and water are in a warm area so they don't have to go out in the cold to get it I wouldn't worry.

ok thank you im very new to havhing ducks lol
It's better to ask than to just assume :) ducks are pretty cold hardy and I know I worry about mine getting cold. Mine never go in their house unless I put them there but cold to me is in the 20's. When they get cold they will sit on their feet to warm them up and continue on their way. They have a wonderful down jacket on that really keeps them warm.

Brr! As long as they can go in and out I would try not to worry. Keep a close eye on everyone and check for frostbite when you can but they sound like they are doing just fine.

I agree, just want to emphasize checking their feet daily is important because - and maybe it is just my flock - ducks do not always do the thing that is best for them.

If they are starting to get any bit of foot problems, then please do restrict their access to the outdoors. Plastic poultry fence is very useful.
