I am currently looking for help/supporters in forsyth county to have our ordinances amended. When we started with our chicks, we looked up the City of Cumming and spoke with a person from the zoning dept who said that we where absolutely allowed. Unbeknownst to us, we are outside of Cumming zoning and actually under Forsyth county which requires you to have at least an acre of land, and zoned A-1 which we are not. We need help in starting the process to be add or change ordinances to differentiate between a small backyard flock vs large check house for commercial use. Anyone help please!
