Welcome again! aart has very good information through his site about ventilation. Birds need lots of light and ventilation, no matter the weather. I would open up the top section, at least at each end, and install hardware cloth instead of that nice wood siding. How about a large window on one long side? Solid wall on the north, open on the south, unless you are in a very hot climate. Mary

You coop is adorable! By the nature of your architectural design you should add ventilation across under the top roof's eaves. You could do it as simply as using a hole-saw (make it fun with a pattern) and back it from the inside with hardware cloth (small to keep the bugs out). My coop is new and although I thought I planned adequately for ventilation my thermometer is telling me otherwise on these high-80 deg. days. I'm adding two large vents under the eaves and modifying the coop man door to a Dutch-door with screen at the top.

The ventilation article I recommend reading, not written be me, is linked in my signature.
I suggest reading the space article too, also not written by me.
Both are excellent resources of information.

Monitor type roofs are meant to have venting/windows along the upper side walls.
I'd make operable windows there and vents in the upper gable ends, both securely backed by 1/2 hardware cloth.

Depending on your climate and site location that might be enough year round.
