Very simple. Pizza dough prepared according to the package. Pot roast cubed & shredded after cooking. Shredded cheese , whatever kind you prefer. Flatten circles of dough & fill with meat & cheese. Crimp edges & deepfry until golden. Can also be made with chicken, hamburger, beans & veggies. Can also mix bbq or italian dressing with the meat. To avoid excess oil, they can also be baked in the oven. Baked version is called a calzone.

I have made calzones. I will have to try the deep fried version.
 
I like my calzones filled with salami, pepperoni, bacon & provolone then dipped in pizza sauce once cooked.
