Has anyones NYD chicks laid any eggs yet? My girls are getting red combs and check out the nesting boxes every day! And my roo has been mounting the older hens! When can I expect my eggs to be fertile(just check for fertility when I make breakfast?)? Its my first time with a roo!

Seriously? 16 weeks. I only have 2 pullets left out of my NYDH (sold the rest). My experience is most don't start laying until hey're at least 23 weeks old and most at about 26 weeks.
