i am so sorry foryour loss. My exp w. raccoon was that they left lots of remenants after the attack ( and they do kill the entire flock) . I think that this may have been the work of a desperate fox (vixen, isnt it?) --- to come out in daylight---- but she prob has a litter to feed since it is spring.... just a guess.....

Sorry for your loss...Sounds like fox or coyotes to me. Do you have a gamecam/live trap to catch the culpurt when it returns..?
