Another Egg Bound Hen.

I think i have a hen with egg bound too

, she is moving slowly with her wings down, thought she will lay the egg tonight, but she hasn't, when should i start to help her? She is sleeping on the ground not on the perch like always.

Have you checked the inside of her vent? Can she poop?

I don't know how to check her vent, she is pooping tiny pieces of poo.

I have this on hand if i need to use it:

Very *gently* insert gloved, lubed finger about 1/2" (1.27cm) in vent (cloaca).

I had to do it this morning, and although not my first time, it was the first time I felt the egg. It was literally like a half of an inch inside, felt like a wet rubber ball through the glove. It will require a second person if you've never done it and she can still walk, mine was paralyzed at the time I did it so I was able to do it solo.
