Babies arrived

Here we are as of this morning......11 of the 14 posed for me.....the other three were too chicken to stand still.............

a little poultry joke there......

You can see the BR up front getting it's comb already, the BO says, "Oh, get this side, it's my better side!". The one with her neck stretched out to nip at the BR in the back is our "sweet" EE, "Fuzzbutt", as the boys call her(at least we hope she's a she).

Gave one of the BO's a reprieve from the brooder this weekend.....more of an experiment for us, than her......

She had fun out there. We call this one "Winkey".....she's always shutting her right eye....we don't see anything noticeable that might be wrong with it.

We gave them some meal worms yesterday for the first time.......crack. That is chicken crack. Really looking forward to when they are larger this summer, and taking them a bucket of JUNE BUGS!!!!!
