You know, I've got my NPIP now, but Montana isn't warm enough yet. Besides, there will definitely be people closer to you than I am.
It was -20°F last week, hasn't been above freezing much since last December.
If it gets late March/April and you still haven't found someone closer, I could perhaps arrange something, if you are so inclined.

What would the going price be for a breeding pair 6 weeks old?

It depends on the breeder, but you could expect to start at 50 for a good pair that aren't brother and sister.

Are birchen marans silver based?
Kinda confused I have seen listings for silver birchen marans and birchen marans are they the same?

Birchen marans are silver based. Another name for them is black silver, since it's the same as black copper only with all copper replaced by silver.

I just got a Blue Birchen hen and a Black Birchen cockrel from a local breeder, who bought them from Greenfire.

I also just saw some of the things wrong with them...

Wow! It sounds like my work is cut out for me.

Can anybody recommend breeders who have overcome some of the things on the list?
