They're a lot of work and expensive. The Arab likes to try and colic if it suddenly drops temperature, which is always a vet bill, plus travel expenses for the vet to come out right away.

Yup the vet bills for them being them and the fact I had to rent stall and pasture is why I ended up selling my last two horses after I was out on my own.

It's why we lease out our pony too, The barn we're at covers her boarding and vet bills and in return we let them use her for lessons.
