Black Ameraucana Roo crossed with a Rhode Island Red Hen.

This was an accidental hatching by one of my bantam cochins. I wouldn't mind having this cross, but our Rooster is a really ill tempered, aggressive nasty fellow and I didn't particularly want to pass those fabulous personality traits on to a future generation. Who knows though, if one of these is a roo..perhaps he will be nice and will replace his father. Anyway, I was looking for photos of this cross and hadn't seen any so I thought I'd share mine. The chicks just hatched yesterday so I'll post follow ups as they get bigger. Cheers.
