Block swap 2017

Phew, thank goodness it's not going to be that stupid price then! Looked at the blocks again, well several times actually. I confess. I've been stroking them too. They really are lovely. Some really nice fabrics. We are getting better and better at this. I think we all enjoyed this particular technique. It was fast with no stupid triangles to worry about, just square on square. Thanks again everyone

I'm putting another round on all of mine to make them bigger. It is also making them more uniform in size. I am adding a 6" square which I'm laying on the block and then trimming the block to fit. Also found some 4"blocks which were the waste from a disappearing nine patch I made years ago so I'm using those to make centres of blocks, pictures later!

I may follow your lead. What do you think if the final square is all the same color, or keep with the scrapy and mix it up?

You will need to mix it up I think otherwise you will get the blocks floating on whatever colour you make the final square.

Hahahaha I am just feeling a bit cheeky. Now it is time to add the goodies. This is turning out to be a lot of fun.
