No, I'm just saying mine don't have very big combs yet, it seem they would be bigger by now, beings that it's been known of hens laying by 14 to 16 weeks of age. I'm learning on here as well, lol.No, a ten week old hen doesn't have a large comb yet. But a hen mature enough to not only lay but to go broody and hatch a clutch is going to be a lot older than ten weeks. What you're saying is analogous to saying that women don't have breasts because ten year old girls don't have breasts.
